Biography
| Dr Neil Brimblecombe Director of Nursing, Research and DevelopmentSouth Staffordshire and Shropshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
Biography Neil Brimblecombe is director of nursing for two mental health foundation trusts, South Staffs and Shropshire and the Tavistock and Portman. He was previously Director of Mental Health Nursing at the Department of Health, during which time he led the development of national guidance on both mental health and learning disability nursing. Neil trained as a mental health nurse in Hertfordshire and then worked clinically in acute, community, adolescent and crisis services in central London and the home counties. He has published widely in the professional press and completed his PhD researching crisis services. |
