MENTAL HEALTH & LEARNING DISABILITY NURSE DIRECTORS’ AND LEADS’ FORUM ETHICAL GUIDELINES

1                INTRODUCTION

1.1             The content of the Mental Health & Learning Disability Nurse Directors’ and Leads’ Forum private web site is for the explicit use of the membership.  It has been designed to encourage online discussion and exchange of information related to the rapidly developing domain of Mental Health and Learning Disability and to achieve a common basis on which to utilize the concepts of Best Practice.

2                OBLIGATIONS

2.1             Any documentation or other content uploaded to this site will be reviewed by the Committee for suitability.  There is a Notice Board and Social Events Area for posting informal subject matter, such as sales and wants, invitations to informal events etc.  Only information related to the Forum and its membership should be posted to the site.

3                CLARIFICATION

3.1             If any person is discovered sending inappropriate or improper data to the web site their membership will be revoked and fees will not be refunded.

4                CONFIDENTIALITY

4.1             If you send information to be uploaded to the site it is an individual responsibility to manage any other confidentiality and disclosure issues.  The Administrator is aware of all registration details and login information so there is no requirement for this to be shared with any other individuals, or it may compromise the security of the site.
